The goal was to create a leaderboard to show the amount of money raised for a charity event.

It didn’t happen.

I felt a little weird about making that the focus of a leaderboard. (I believe that any amount counts, be it $0.50 or $500 and it’s kind of awkward to rank people in terms of donations.) As you can see, I ended up changing it. That’s the story of this blog, am I right?

There aren’t many screenshots of the process I went through to get to the end result since I changed the idea for this one so late in the game.

A few things changed throughout the three screenshots above, but most elements stayed the same - aside from going from such a dark background to a bright white, open one.
