I completely forgot to even post a blog about this exercise in the midst of everything I have going on. Whoops.

I have a personal project in progress right now on Briefbox where the task is to design a brand identity for Roots, an interior design company that specializes in find bespoke fixtures, fittings, features, and furniture for their wealthy clientele.

My goal was to complete it in 5 days, assuming that my ideas would just flow, I could zero in without any distractions, and be ready to post and share about it then. Spoiler alert: that did not happen. I’m still about halfway through, since I’ve completed the business card design and website mockup, with the letterhead, comp slip, and brochure left.

However, I thought it would be an excellent idea to just combine it with my #notsodailyui exercises (work smarter, not harder, am I right?), so here is the logo I came up with for the standard business card design!

I’m not going to make any promises as to a specific date when it’s going to be done, because we all know that things change at the drop of a hat these days. I will share once everything has been completed!
