Favourite Creative Market Purchases: Vol 1

I’m sure if you’ve read through a few blog posts on here, you’ve probably figured out by now that my love and appreciation for Creative Market is real.
So real that they are my go-to website for fonts, mockups, illustrations, etc. I’m not kidding when I say go there first when I need design assets. There is amazing quality and variety from all of the creators and designers, the prices are affordable, and I love how there’s a wealth of information available on the blog.
With that being said, I’m now a Creative Market partner and I am SO over-the-moon excited to share the love with you so you can now join in on the fun, stock up on design assets, and find new shops to follow and support as well!
This blog post will cover some of my favourite purchases from Creative Market so far. I’m limiting it to purchases I made between June 2020 to April of this year to give you a bit of variety.
With that said, I have two tips for you before we get into the list:
Please read the product descriptions on Creative Market thoroughly. The creators have written them out for very good reasons - to make sure that you know exactly the file types you are getting, what the products are, the programs you will need to use them, and what you can and cannot do with them. (VERY important!) As always, reach out to the creator directly if you have questions.
Please pay attention to the type of license you’ll need. Creative Market does an amazing job at educating people on the differences between personal, commercial, extended commercial licenses.
All of the affiliate links are embedded in the product photos throughout this post and there will be some links to other products nestled in the descriptions.

Alright, let’s goooooo!
Illustrations
Abstract Design Toolbox by Type and Graphics Lab
Who doesn’t want over 300 abstract hand drawn elements to use in their designs! Think of rose gold metallic coloured splashes, along with black and white lines, arrows, speech bubbles, etc.
The world is your oyster with these.
I’ve used them in listing photos for my Etsy shop, as well as Instagram carousels, and they add such a nice touch to the designs.
Modern Abstract Collection by Yamurchik
Now is probably the time to tell you that I had an abstract shape phase, right? Okay, well, now that we’ve gotten that out the way, this is another collection with over 300 abstract shapes, textures, patterns, and florals, along with some premade poster designs, Instagram Stories, and other compositions.
A win, if you ask me.
You are able to change the colours and use this collection for a wide range of projects like packaging (gonna try this out soon), invitations, posters, and cards.
Watercolour Brush Strokes by Point and Poem
I love a good watercolour brush stroke. I’m not sure why, but I just do. I purchased this pack while I was creating the Canva Watercolour Dream puzzle template and realized that I didn’t have a good set to use in general with my Adobe CC programs. There are 403 PNGs (yes, you read that correctly) of brush strokes with different widths, shapes, and colours that are absolutely perfect for invitations and logos.
Ooooh, just looking at this gave me some much needed inspiration!
Fonts
The Designer’s Bundle by KA Designs
Remember how I spoke about buying $2 fonts in my last post? KA Designs was how I got started! My first purchase from the shop was The Dunes script serif font duo*.
At the time, I had created what was the first version of the #GetToKnowMe Instagram Stories and even had up for sale on here. I ended up taking a step back to revise it since I felt that something was missing, and it turns out that happened to be The Dunes font duo.
There’s such a sweet balance of that handwritten script with the bold contrast of the sans serif. Oh, and did I mention there’s also a set of illustrations included, too?
I forgot we were talking about the bundle. Sorry!
You get 95 fonts with 200 design elements to enjoy and play around with to your heart’s content. I know, I still haven’t made my way through all of them just yet, either! They bring such a soft, creative, and carefree vibe when I do include them in projects.
In fact, I think I should take my own advice and set aside some time soon to experiment with them. *adds to To-Do list*
Honorary mention also goes to the Stillness script* I also purchased late last year for $2. The KA Designs shop is filled with so many good products!
Mockups
Picture Frame Mockup Ultra Bundle by Saguaro Digital
Earlier this year, I created two Wi-Fi sign printables: Popcorn, Movie, Chill and Houseguest. I did buy a couple of mini bundles of mockups from some other shops to test out. I knew that I wanted not only more variety, but ones to use in the future just in case the ideas for the Wi-Fi printables didn’t stop coming. (Yes, I have a whole list of ones to create.)
I found this amazing bundle and shop during one of my Creative Market browsing sessions. It had such a good mix of scenes and frame sizes that I didn’t even think twice - I just added it to my cart quickly so I could get started.
The frame sizes available in the bundle are a mix of 1x1, 2x3, 3x4, 4x5, and 5x7, and they will bring your printables, illustrations, drawings, and posters to life!
iPhone X 16 Mockups by Asylab
I have used this mockup collection A LOT during the last year. While I do have other iPhone mockups that I have downloaded and used over the years, I always come back to this one.
You get 16 PSD files to use for your UI/UX designs. There’s a variety of setups - one phone, two phones, three phones, etc., so there’s bound to be something for everyone.
The shop carries a wide range of devices and other products at very affordable prices, so they are worth checking out for your your device mockup needs! I have gotten a lot of use just out of this collection alone since purchasing it!
Altea Magazine Mockup Screen Creator by Moyo Studio
I was first introduced to Moyo Studio through Pinterest, if I’m not mistaken. I fell in love with their stock photos, and then I fell in love with their clean, modern, and elegant mockups.
Every time I scroll through their shop, I’m in awe. Like, with my mouth open and always saying, “UGH, these are so perfect and beautiful!”
I decided it was high time to actually do some passion projects since I have an abundance of free time these days. (Shout out to Ontario...) I got to a point in a branding brief where I needed a magazine mockup and there wasn’t any question at all that I would be getting it from Moyo Studio.
The scene creator is amazing. If you haven’t used one before, then it gives you everything that’s available in one file. You can then toggle the different sizes of the magazines on and off and can customize exactly how you want your magazine to look.
Want a square one? It’s there.
Want a portrait or landscape magazine? They’re also available for you.
There are also shadow layers, textured backgrounds, overlay options, and you can also decide if you want the staples to be seen in your mockup!
Marlow Minimalist Branding Mockup Scene Creator by Moyo Studio
(Full disclosure: every time I see the name Marlow, I think of Marlo Hampton from Real Housewives of Atlanta.)
I bought this branding mockup scene creator at the same time as the magazine scene creator above, for the same project I mentioned. I wanted something minimalist that wouldn’t take away from the designs I created, but also had a touch of luxury to them.
Both products work the same way, only this has branding elements such as various paper sizes, envelopes, pens, and devices along with 20 premade branding scenes for you to use.
Similar to the magazine scene creator, there are light and shadows overlays, background textures, and the ability to change the colour of the background and the colour of the pen.
And there we have it - the first installment of my favourite Creative Market purchases. If you’ve made it this far, congratulations!
I hope you’ve now found a few more products to add to your cart. Feel free to share your favourite Creative Market purchases with me down below in the comments, on Instagram, or on Pinterest!
Happy designing!
