#034 - Car Interface

I’m going to start this off by saying that some people are very talented and can design amazing car interfaces.

I, however, am not one of them.

Just looking through the various examples of what people have posted on Dribble and Pinterest made me realize that:

  1. I could make an interface that’s simple, straight to the point, and on time according to the posting schedule I have been working with for the last 3-ish months.

  2. Or I could overthink, complicate things, and become so frustrated that it causes me to fall behind.

I don’t think it surprises anyone to know that I went with the first option. If I have learned anything about myself since this quarantine started, it’s that I do best with some sort of a routine that still provides me with a bit of flexibility. Now that I’m all caught up with #notsodailyui, I’m staying on track by doing the bulk of the next project in the series a day before I post it, leaving myself any room the day of posting to make any minor changes, write up the corresponding posts, etc.

Or you know, in case things happen and I’m not able to post much later in the day than I normally do.

I don’t really have a lot to say about this one, other that it focuses solely on the audio component of the car interface.

Today is honestly just one of those days when my energy is low, so I’m going to end with the Loom videos and tackle the next one or two in the series.
