#042 - To-Do List

Ahhh, where would we be without to-do lists?

I started to use Asana late last year after struggling to keep track of everything I wanted and needed to do and it was such a huge improvement. You can make multiple lists, colour code them, add links, schedule dates and times for when tasks should be completed by, etc. Most of my boards are focused on creative work and I mainly use to it jot down ideas for upcoming projects or to document where I am during a project, but I do have a few that are for personal use only.

Green Thumb Design & Implementation Guide (DIG)

The week I had to turn this assignment in was the same week that I knew I had to make a few changes in my life. Were those changes easy even though I had already thought about making them a month before? Absolutely not. It was stressful and being confused about this assignment added to it.

To kick things off, my first thought was that it was a style guide so I used our good friend Google to gain a little more insight into what was needed. It seemed pretty straightforward, but then I second guessed myself by directly typing “design and implementation guide” into the Google search bar. That just gave me more questions than answers, to be very honest. What really threw me for a loop that I was supposed to create this Design & Implementation Guide (DIG) before I even did a proper mock-up.

User Personas - Green Thumb 2019

Taking a break from our not so regularly scheduled programming to pop in with this post.

A few weeks ago I started taking a course that I have wanted to take for the last year. It’s an introductory course to UI/UX. I’m not only learning a lot and noticing that what I have learned on my own over the last year and a half is clicking, but I’m really enjoying it.
